Hand-mades kicking ass!!!
June 11, 2007 – 10:26 pmSo we just closed the second weekend at the Kentucky Highlander Ren. Fair and while I am not saying sales are great, they are far better than last year which means the fair is going in the right direction and the second weekend was far better than the first weekend, which means this year is going in the right dirrection. Now for the really great part. Hand-made sales are kicking the dollar ass of imports !!
We are still selling more items that are imported, but dollar for dollar most of our sales are now items that I have forged myself. I am so very proud as this is the first time I have managed to have enough quality and quantity to make such a claim.
The forge and forging area (aka The Pit) are not completly finished yet. They should be finished this Friday, so I will be putting out new work every week and probably getting around to putting up some photos.
