Freedom of Speech ?
June 13, 2007 – 11:12 amSo everyone knows how I feel about Gavin and Yvonne Frost. I believe they have not only encouraged the torture, molestation and rape of prepubescent children in the name of Wicca; I believe they are themselves either liars or molesters and / or rapists of prepubescent children. My reason for believing so is because in their book, The Witches Bible as initially published, they detailed the making of multi sized dildos, provided charts and diagrams, instructions that the father help, and that prepubescent children have sex as part of Wiccan rituals. As all of this amounts to the definition of rape in the State of Ohio, I figure that amounts to promoting such. In later versions of the book, published as the Good Witches Bible, they continued to include the content adding that these were previously the teachings of their Church and School of Wicca but that today, no formal initiation into groups which practice the Great Rite should include those under 18. From that, I have decided that I “believe” they once participated in those rites, after all they founded the school, wrote the book, and created the instructions.
So now friends warn me that I am skirting the line by saying and publishing what I believe. In a country where Freedom of Speech is guaranteed under the very founding documents, I am confused. I have not said that they ARE rapists or child molesters. I have said that they have encouraged and promoted the torture, molestation, and rape of prepubescent children. Anyone who would read that book would agree, including a judge in a civil suit. I have also said I – believe – they are themselves guilty of the torture, molestation and rape of children. To successful sue me, one would have to prove that I do not believe this.
Does anyone doubt that I believe this with all my heart? Why then would anyone be concerned that I say so?
One Response to “Freedom of Speech ?”
I think people are scared of the action that stands behind your words. Plenty of people will stand up and condemn it but when it comes to action they’re too pussy to stand behind their values. People fear confrontation and rejection so they remain inactive and ineffective. To see someone stepping up is threatning for them. It upsets the status quo and people can’t hide in their safe little holes anymore.
In the end, I don’t think it’s what they’re saying to you that is important, but rather why they’re objecting to what you’re saying. Chances are these are two different things and this is the reason behind the endless roundabout arguements.
