Elizabeth Miklosovic - 36 Year Old Teacher
July 17, 2007 – 12:03 pmDoes Wicca say it is OK for a 36 year old Teacher to marry and have sex with a 15 year old former student? It seems some Wiccans have little problem with the idea & some of our leaders do not know what the fuss is about. Some even encourage and promote it.
Police claim that a South Haven, Michigan middle-school teacher (Elizabeth Miklosovic - age 36) married a former student (age 15) in a lesbian Wiccan ritual. Oddly enough, some in the Wiccan community seem to support the conduct.
Poster Celebwen writes: “I cannot believe the amount of people jumping on the bandwagon to lynch this woman!”
It sounds familiar doesn’t it? I stand against Gavin and Yvonne Frost, people who instructed that sexual initiations take place at an age which seems to be as early as 10 years old, people object to the folk who jump on the bandwagon. Here we seem to have Wicca used to take advantage of a 15 year old, and again when folk express an outrage they are said to be jumping on the bandwagon.
And then there are folk like Isaac Bonewits who, in defense of Gavin and Yvonne Frost, seems to have indicated that things like this aren’t all that bad.
In defending Gavin Frost, Isaac Bonewits said:

For a time I thought I was going mad. So many people like Isaac Bonewits support Gavin and Yvonne Frost. So many pagan and Wiccan folk that is. So many festivals, authors, and leaders in our community that is. Police and prosecutors seem to have a different opinion. They think that using Wicca to seduce and have sex with 15 years old is illegal and they seem to think that prosecuting folk who do this is the correct thing to do.
Obviously we have a problem in our community. I think it is because our leaders have led us astray. I think our leaders who have supported or done nothing about this sort of behavior need the boot. Stand and be counted!
