Are these people that you feel proud of? Are they people you think should represent the Pagan Community at a Pride Event?

An interesting workshop at this PPD is the “Responsibility In Ritual”, it occurs at the same time as the Frost’s, “Wicca 501 - Power Raising and Circle Dance”, and a “Mid-Day Ritual w/ Kids”. A strange combination of simultaneous events.
What is in the heads of these people?

Unfortunately, Mr. Drew, your information is incorrect. The Frosts are NOT appearing at Rochester Pagan Pride Day 2007. Gail Wood is our guest speaker this year. Although there is an announcement up for a fundraiser at the end of July 2007, the rest of the website is under renovation and has not been updated since September 2006, as noted in the upper left hand corner of the page.
Please do not post information without proper prior verification, which means contacting the Local Coordinator of RPPD, who is who I am.

I did write you (or another email at your site )and Pagan Pride National (about 6 different offices) about Gavin and Yvonne Frost having spoken there in the past and being scheduled at Pagan Pride events in the future. Neither you nore Pagan Pride National bothered to return my emails.
Now then, I do thank you for stopping your support and promotion of Gavin and Yvonne Frost, but I do sudgest you update your website imediatly to reflect that they are NOT speaking there.
I also sudgest that you issue an apology for the years that Pagan Pride Rochester has promoted Gavin and Yvonne Frost with an explination (hopefully ignorance of what they wrote) for having done so.
Finaly, in the future if you put information on your website you should expect people to believe it rather than be anoyed that they repeat it. That is the function of a website, providing informaiton.
In short, uh hugh?

I talked to Diana and she did say that Yvonne was VERY clear when she said that they had NEVER initiated anyone under the age of 18 and was very offended at having been asked. Take that however you like.
… About Eolh… She and Eolh don’t see eye to eye on the Frost thing. He doesn’t see the problem, she thinks what they wrote is sick and twisted. (Just being clear as to the point that if anyone is going to go off on Eolh for the Frost defense, don’t get all gung ho against her too. *hands on hips*)

Myriah, thank you for the information. I would be very interested in why the Frosts aren’t going to be there. Was it their decision or Pagan Pride’s? Am I correct in understanding by what you wrote that there IS still an announcement that Gavin and Yvonne will be at a fundraiser at the end of July? Or, perhaps I read that incorrectly. Solstice - So they wrote an instructional on not only who and why one should molest, intoxicate, and rape children but how to address the legal problems with doing so and how to protect your coven from child support if the girls get pregnant, but she didn’t actually do it herself. Well, not that writting the book is not in and of itself enough for my discontent, I do not trust her unsword testimony because as you said, she seemed rather upset when asked; why would tht be when she and her husband were so clear in that book that doing so is just fine?

Shaitan - The Frosts have been speakers at this event and were anounced as speakers. I wrote to Pagan Pride National as well as Pagan Pride Rochester. It appears from Myriah’s comment that she considers it “Unfortunate” that the Frosts are not speaking there this year. I believe she is a wee bit upset that I medeled and has come here to spread lies about the happening, so do not expect an answer from her.
Pagan Pride events have promote Gavin and Yvonne Frost for many years. Until this post by Myriah, I had believed they were ignoring my emails. Now it looks like they have paid attention but are none to happy about it.

My thought is that as Pagan Pride has done nothing in responce to my letters that I can find, well they are pulling the Frosts from their events covertly, hoping not to be harmed by the negative publicity that is being generated about there support, but their true feeling on the matter can be seen in what their coordinators do and say. They obviously resent what I have done and continue to do. Guess what. I dont much care.
How dare they use a name like Pagan Pride, appear to be speaking for the pagan community, and then support and promote people like Gavin and Yvonne Frost. I, for one, am NOT proud of this slime.
