Wiccan Blood Ritual?
July 25, 2007 – 9:21 pmI have not yet varified this quote, my many copies of the book are out on loan. However, it does seem that Gavin and Yvonne Frost’s Church and School of Wicca involves blood rituals.
“The woman cuts the man’s forearm so that she draws blood. (The easiest way to produce the necessary cut is to pinch the flesh with one hand and cut with the other.) … Man and woman each cut themselves; the man allows his blood to fall on hers.”

Aj you must not know your craft traditions and practices very well. Ill only let you in on this one secret, Well its really not secret but anybody with the smarts to study knows that im SOME and i stress some British traditions that at the initiations of some Second degrees they not only invert the pentacle on the altar but the initiate pricks or cuts a finger to mingle one or three drops of blood into the chalice and drink it before or after there measure is taken and they recite there oaths.. But then again maybe you didnt know that.. i wonder why..?

Shadowhawk - Not sure why you brought up inverting the pentagram as a second degree symbol, however thank you for pointing out the tradition involving pricking ones own finger.
In the state of Ohio, conscent is not considered a defence to assault. Many other states have similiar laws. I discovered this while looking into Vampire Cult activity. Basicly, if one vampire cuts his or herself for another to feed, there is nothing illegal. However, if one cuts another (even with conscent) it seems to be illegal.
The first sentence in the quote states firmly that one should cut another. I do find a great difference between cutting another human being (presumabl with a knife) and giving yourself a little pin prick.
In fact, I often draw my own blood with a pin prick but would never consider taking a knife to my wife’s arm. Maybe it is just me.
