Two friends drink the Cool Aid

July 29, 2007 – 9:07 pm

From Solstice: “Diana and Eolh just got back from Brushwood. They are now Frost-fans. They see nothing wrong with the book and are thinking that we’re nuts for attacking the ‘nice little old people’. Yes- Diana too. “

When my long-term friend Eolh said earlier that he supported Gavin and Yvonne Frost, I went off on him publicly. Josty, another long-term friend, said he agreed with Eolh and I went off on him as well. Josty later said that I misunderstood his agreement with Eolh. Folk were upset with me for doing so and now we have Eolh and his girl friend Diana (a mother incidentally) agreeing with Gavin and Yvonne Frost, stating there is nothing wrong with that book, and I have no reason to oppose them.

My wife and others told me it wasn’t worth loosing friendships over. They told me that if they were to actually read the material, that they would be equally repulsed by it. They told me that I shouldn’t jump to conclusions. That any sane person who reads that book will not be jumping to conclusions at all. That the instructions to get children drunk and rape them in the name of Wicca is right there. They told me I shouldn’t be such a hot head.

I really thought there might be something wrong with me. I really thought that maybe I was not giving the man a chance. Solstice told me that Diana had read the book and was outraged. She told me that Diana was brining the book to Eolh and I should calm down until he read it. Now Diana and Eolh return from meeting the Frosts and are their fans, seeing nothing wrong with what is written in that book. Did something in that book change when Diana met Gavin Frost? How did Jim Jones get all those people to drink the cool aid?

I am done being hostile. There is no reason for it. The book speaks for itself and the violent history associated with the Church and School of Wicca speaks to its standing as a dangerous cult. So read the book. I have always asked people to do just that. And when you are done, if you would like to drink the Cool Aid please feel free. The gene pool could use much improvement.

Diana, I honestly fear for your children and the children of any parent who can excuse such behavior as the Frosts have demonstrated, in print and in practice. No hostility. Just sincere, honest sadness.

2. I was telling my son (who has 4 kids from 1-8 years) about this book. He couldn’t believe it. I also told him about how you were taking a stand against it.
He said, “Good for him! At least he is doing something worth while!”
Now he doesn’t come on here and really doesn’t want to hear about the drama and the like that goes on PN. BUT he will be there at the ritual doing his own to help out.
I also told him about the authors and the “black Magic” talk.
He said. “Is it really Black Magic to take care of people who would promote this type of thing?”
I also told him about how the authors felt and didn’t want to be associated with the Ball because of the “ritual fall out”.
He said. “I do not believe there will be fall out from it. You are doing something that is good, so that will just make your energies and magic that much stronger.”

I know that people who do molest children will put on a nice face so to fool the unsuspecting. I have had dealings with those who molest children. NOT because I wanted to but because they had moved into the small town just down the block from me. A month after the guy had been released from prison he and his son kidnapped a young lady (over 18) raped her and then murdered her.
I am so very glad that the next door neighbor’s daughter was deputy sheriff at the time and I found out before anything could happen to my daughter who always walked past their house coming home from school!
Don’t be fooled by the public face that is put on by those who do harm.

Maybe it isn’t worth loosing friends over.
But I wouldn’t want those who think the Frosts are fine and dandy for their writings and actions to be my friends. That is me and I am fine without those types.

Anyway for what it is worth…just wanted you to know that someone who never cared much now is also getting involved.

No I won’t drink the cool aid. I use my brain and think.

4. Apparantly I was mistaken in Diana’s perspective. (Thank Gods!) I wrote that email in frustration after having just gotten into it with them over the phone. She and I talked the other day and she says she was just coming off badly (and I think was relaying what Eolh was saying in he background and I was taking her relaying it as her opinion?). She says she was trying to say that she was done (like you) because she needs to focus on herself and her own life right now because so much is going on in it. That I can certainly understand. Family first.

Eolh on the other hand- I have no *idea* what’s going on with him. He’s ignoring his friends, not returning calls, ditched Josty’s birthday… I’m concerned for him. I can’t say he’s a bad guy- what I think might be happening is that he’s been so spun out by everything that happened at the beginning of the year that he’s gone through and going through some major shit and might not know which way is up. I don’t know. Maybe I never really knew him at all, but… He never seemed to me to be the type of person to support this kind of thing- in fact- if anything I’d have pegged him as one of the first in line to stand up *against* it- so truthfully I’m lost as can be on this one. I go back and forth between what you say here- that he’s ‘drunk the Kool-Aid’ or that he’s just a guy who’s been through a world of shit this year and is confused and needs to figure out which way is ‘up’ again… *sigh* I just don’t know.

5. Kind of gratifying to see someone actually talking to the Frosts and them realizing that they arent the monsters you make them out to be
Many more need to do the same thing, meet the Frosts talk to them, then draw your own conclusions.Looks like the tide is turning hmm AJ

By shadowhawk on Jul 30, 2007

6. Shadowhawk - No tide is turning. Eohl was with you from the beginning, as stated. So were all the others I have mentioned.

In so far as the Frosts being monsters, the wrote what they wrote. Now they are old and weak so folk tend to take pitty on them after seeing their frail bodies. That pitty is quickley washed away when folk see our picture and read your threats of violence.

After reading your threats and looking at your picture, my conclusion is that you are a big thug and the Frosts probably keep you around for that purpose. No, they might not be telling you to threaten me physicaly but they certianly are pulling your strings. Just as any charasmatic cult leaders would.

Will that be grape or cherry?

By A.J. Drew on Jul 30, 2007

7. That is indeed to laugh, so by looking at my picture you surmise im a thug, I think you watch to many movies. And if anyone has pulled strings it is you sir.. By making all your accusations with nothing other than a book and some reports you have gotten from wikipedia. Outside of your brain injury i WAS starting to feel sorry for you. It really doesnt matter if i threaten you or not, Your hatred for the Frosts will do a more thorough damage to you than i ever could. So sit back and let it gnaw at you, let it build right up until Samhain right on through your sacrifice of caring. Once Samhain is done past it will still eat at you, it will wear you down. All that negative energy and emotion,, And throughout this entire time while you are being consumed by your hatred.. i will sleep soundly at night

By shadowhawk on Jul 30, 2007

8. Shadowhawk - I said “After reading your threats and looking at your picture” I conclude that you are a thug. My conclusion is not based on your appearance alone, but your threats of physical violence and your appearance.

No anger here or hatred here. Just a mission which is going very well. You are right about one thing, after Samhain things will calm down for me in this matter. From there, public opinion will do my work for me even more than it is now.

But thank you for pointing out that my Sacrifice to Caring (which you referenced as my plans for Samhain) is what is currently causing the attention to what the Frosts have written. It makes me all warm and fuzzy to know my plans are working so well.

Me pulling strings? Now why would you say that? Because I leave my blog wide open for your comments? Naw, that woldn’t be part of my plan. I could never sum you up as a thug and expect you to act that way to illustrate how the Frosts followers behave. Me? Predict our violent outbursts and threats? Naw, not possible.

By A.J. Drew on Jul 30, 2007

9. LOL, I got a totally different take when I saw his picture. The impression I got was 30-something year old loser who still lives in his Mom’s basement, surfing internet porn because real relationships scare him, and playing DnD while stuffing his face with bon-bons and soda with his other loser buddies who also can’t get a date to save their lives. And yes I surmised it completely from appearances alone. I’m sure I’m wrong (at least I hope I am, can anyone be that pathetic?), but hey, that’s what the guy looks like to me . :-)

10. And i bet your a real Stud.. Sit down and shut the fuck up no one pulled your chain bitchboy

By shadowhawk on Jul 30, 2007

11. You know you guys worry an awful lot about me .. especially Aj.. why is that.. he could easily ban me from his sompleton little blog here. Maybe its because he knows that his crusade against the Frosts is going to bite him in his ass.. losing multiple of his friends must be starting to take its toll. And Sangathor i guarantee you wouldnt talk your shit to my face

By shadowhawk on Jul 30, 2007

12. Ouch, your words hurt me so badly. LOL. What’s the matter fat boy, did I hit a little to close to home? The only time you’ve ever been a thug is in your own wet dreams.

You haven’t been banned from his blog because your helping the cause. I’ve said it before, with friends like you the Frosts don’t need any enemies.

By Sangathor on Jul 30, 2007

13.
And Sangathor i guarantee you wouldnt talk your shit to my face
Come to the ball and I’ll prove you wrong.

By Sangathor on Jul 30, 2007

14. Your a funny guy you really make me laugh.. this blog is only read by a select few.. any place Aj posts my comments are read by a select few.. So you seem to actually think what i say helps his case.. NO ONE SEES WHAT AJ POSTS . if they did there would be more replys than just what his little core group of followers are saying.. You give Aj way to much credit for NOTHING. and Aj has my adress why dont you come see me , put your money where your mouth is.. lol really im laughing so hard.. And you call me fat boy.. i guarantee you wont whip this fat boy

By shadowhawk on Jul 30, 2007

15. Why would I want to travel to see you at your Mom’s house? Your the one with the “guarantees”. You know where I will be on Samhain weekend. I said nothing about kicking anyone’s ass, but since everything comes down to that for you, come get some, fatboy. Here’s some pics so you know who to look for.

17. LOL, you are as stupid as you look. Use you cum soaked sausage fingers and actually click the link. You don’t have to be a member to view the galleries.

And I do know that you are banned, we all had a good laugh at your expense over it.

By Sangathor on Jul 30, 2007

18. I just looked at your pics.. personally you look like a Easy rider reject.. But no matter.. i think i will come to the Rwb.. see if your up to backing up your mouth.. You know what that means dont ya bitch boy

By shadowhawk on Jul 30, 2007

19. See ya there sweetheart. I’ll bring you some cool aid.

By Sangathor on Jul 30, 2007

20. … Wow- you still don’t get it Shadow. Many folk think that encouraging it through writing is almost if not just as bad as actually doing it.

I also have no idea what you’re talking about regarding hatred- I don’t hate the Frosts. I pity them. I grieve for the harm that their words have caused others. But I certainly don’t sit up at night marinating in hatred for them.

The Frosts aren’t the only ones I pity… You keep coming back here. Are you really that much of a loser that you have nothing better to do than come here and blather on like a grade school punk to people who think you’re an idiot?

Ever look into needlepoint? Or tai chi? What about raquetball? You really need a hobby.

By Solstice on Jul 30, 2007

21. No honey i dont need a hobby.. My goal in life is to fuck with you retards who think what AJ is doing is right.. it brings me great joy to see his friends peel away from him.He calls them monsters child molesters and such.. and yet he has NO PROOF.. like they say no victim no crime. And youll say but what about what the Frosts wrote, what about it.. there are far more heinous things being written and published every day.. Yet Aj isnt speaking out about that.. I wonder why.. No honey im gonna be here right up to samhain..this is to good not to stay right on top of things till the very end. And when it crumbles all around him, ill be here to gloat and laugh and twist the thorn in his side that much more

By shadowhawk on Jul 30, 2007

22. Whenever I do a search for the Frosts I always get this Blog site first! Hmmm I think there is more to this blog posting then is being let on.

BTW I will be going to an event with over 20,000 people that I will be talk with about this book. We’ll see what happens then.

Another thought I had was to say something to some of the more”religous” people around. Or send Chaper4 from the book to the churches….
Just some thoughts on how to fight this.
:)

23. Shadowhawk - The only way Pagan Nation knows that you are a banned member is by the cookie that it set when you were a member. If you delete your cookies, the board will think you are a guest and you can read / see what ever you like. However, I don’t think you will find any porn nor do I know what u r tlkng about.

Please consider my public stance against the now former head of Seax-Wicca and his homophobic rantings.

Why on earth you would think that Gavin and Yvonne Frost are the only thing that I make waves about is beyond me. I piss in more cornflakes before you wake up in the morning than you do all day long.

By A.J. Drew on Jul 30, 2007

24. Serious question guys: Haven’t I had a very long history of pointing out the ills in our community? Why does he seem to think that Gavin and Yvonne Frost are my only issues? I am very confused.

Easy Rider Reject? - Duh, he dun ride no hog. Dat ting runs on rice. Sorry, had to do it.

By A.J. Drew on Jul 30, 2007

25. Oh? More heinous things written by known Pagan authors? Such as?

By Solstice on Jul 31, 2007

26. there are far more heinous things being written and published every day.. does that look like i said BY PAGAN AUTHORS.im talking published in general.. Learn to read

By shadowhawk on Jul 31, 2007

27. AJ-
Absolutly, you have a very long history of pointing out the ills in our community! That is what drew me to PN (via- your books) in the first place! Finally, one who had the spine to stand up, be counted and say “NO! This is NOT what we stand for!” Further, I commend you for trying to DO SOMETHING about it. It matters not to me our number, but that there are those ARE WILLING to point out and publicly be contrary to the wishy washy, money hungry wrongs of the mainstream.

BTW, guys! Don’t think Shadow needs much porno or hand lotion. He has no BALLS, just a big, IGNORANT mouth.

By Jodi_K on Jul 31, 2007

28. Shadowhawk - As I have illustrated, I have spoken out against many things outside of the pagan community. Reciently I have had a change of focus, deciding a person should work from the center out rather than from the outside in. Such is the core principle of the Familial Heathen, discussed in a pending publication. In short, the idea is that one’s spiritual focus is centered on one’s kin, moves outward through kith, and then local community, distand community, and so on. The focus being the imediate family.

The path is not a religion. It is a philosophy which can be applied to any religion. Example: A Familial Heathen Catholic, would first address the scandle that hit the Catholic Church concerning the abuse of children and THEN address the scandle which hit the Boyscouts of America (another Christian organization).

Although much more detailed than I will present here in limitted space, I will point you to that which caused my transformation in thought. It is a song from a play called Hair in which a Pregnant woman is observing that the father of her children and pending child ignores them so he can address larger social issues.

“And especially people
Who care about strangers
Who care about evil
And social injustice
Do you only
Care about the bleeding crowd?
How about a needing friend?
I need a friend”

The rest of the lyrics are here:
http://www.stlyrics.com/lyrics/hair/easytobehard.htm

Please do not get me wrong, I do want to save the whales. Its all just a matter of priorities, something my wife Aimee and I discuss often. You might consider the popular bumper sticker:

“Think global. Act local”.

I believe it is sound advice. But then again, I like “Ankh if you love Isis”.

So now that we have identified why it is that I am acting local to my community rather than to the Catholic Church as so many seem to want to do, the question remains why do I speak out against this threat? That one is easy. Scripture is rather clear that I do so.

“If evil though knowest, then proclaim it to all as evil,
And make no friendship with foes. ”

I believe Gavin and Yvonne Frost are evil and thus am compelled by scripture to proclaim such and make no friends with those who dissagree. I take my religion rather seriously. When my lord god speaks through the words of men, should those words resonate in my heart, I gotta figure they were divinly inspired. Thus, I believe in all reality that I am following the instructions of my lord and savior.

By A.J. Drew on Jul 31, 2007

29. I think it’s you who need to learn to read. I think everyone here has been very clear that we are of the opinion that it’s our responsibility to clean up ‘our backyard’ first and *then* worry about what else is out there.

By Solstice on Jul 31, 2007

30. So Aj which is it are you PAGAN or Christian.. now you seem to be going off the deep end .. wassup with that.. Lord and Saviour..Quoting the bible..Pagans dont have a saviour or a bible.

By shadowhawk on Jul 31, 2007

31. In responce to my posting scripture and the use of the word “savior”.

Shadowhawk said - “So Aj which is it are you PAGAN or Christian”

My quote is from sacred Norse codes recorded in a Scandaniavian text called Havamal (part of the Poetic Edda).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Havamal

As I understand the claim, this is a direct quote from the All Father. I am inspired by these quotes by my son, who is my Lord and savior. My daughter being my Lady and savior.

The principle of ones children being their saviors is something my wife and I have been working on for some time. I believe I discussed the ideology in a Wiccan Bible, not really sure.

However, I will admit that I used the term as I did as bait to see if you would jump on it so we could further discussion. I think it is sad that modern day pagan folk seem only interested in the publications of Llewellyn Worldwide and other modern entities of Corporate America when there is a diversity of sacred scripture developed and tested over centuries of pagan culture.

It also provides me a chance to illustrate further developement of the Familial Heathen path. Children are considered potential saviors, each and every one, must as the are in many Jewish traditions. Savior from what? Well, that will be determined during the lifetime of the child. As to personal saviors, that would be one’s own child. It is not an entirly new concept, in fact the idea that one lives (is imortal / saved from death) in ones children is also an ancient belief. However, it is more than just a desire to live on. My children are my own personal saviors as they provide me with the strongest reason to live.

Thank you for providing me with the opportunity to discuss this matter & my rediscovering of ancient pagan principles in modern context.

By shadowhawk on Aug 1, 2007

33. AJ, Solstice, Sangathor, ignore the little Shadowwank. No one is listening to them, no one cares about them and your efforts are much better spent somewhere else. You’re good people, don’t tarnish yourself with this little person. It’s not worth feeding trolls and he’s just distracting you from all the positive conversations you can take part in. Don’t give him the air time, nothing will ever be achieved by this except for the promotion of his stupid and dangerous ideas.

Shadowhawk - I am? Nope. Like the other blogs that you were driven from for threatening, using horrible language, and so on; I have set this one for full moderation.

Please continue with any relevant conversation. However, should you can not discuss things in a civil manner, I will not approve your posts.
