I, for one totally agree with you concerning the Frosts..They and what they advocate needs to be turned out of the pagan comunity for good..I have NO respect for people of that ilk..as for those who stand behind the frost, they too can stay out in the cold as far as I’m concerned. From what I can can see from your posts, You are a good and decent father..All the power to you,A.J.!

I will not be led around by the nose by anyone. I will think for myself and make my own decisions of what is right and wrong. Those who believe the Frosts are despicable for their manual for intoxicating, molesting, and warping children the moment they have reached puberty have been called followers of AJ Drew, as if we cannot think for ourselves. As if anyone with a rational, properly functioning brain could not see for themselves how wrong this is. As if there is a way to spin this to say “that’s not what they meant”. There is no way to take what is written in “The Witches Bible/The Good Witches Bible” other than instructions in pedophilia. I don’t care if the child is 18 year old when they reach puberty–it is still wrong! What the Frosts propose in their book is cult behavior. They are the ones asking all of us to drink the kool aid with them. I, for one will say “NO!” But more than just saying no for myself, I would propose we dump the damn kool aid and keep others from drinking poison! While I don’t want anyone telling me what is right, and I have no desire to tell others what is right….I do believe it is time to put our foot down on what is clearly and absolutely wrong! There is a difference between being a pacifist and allowing the abuse of children, and the abuse of our community. Real Witches have Balls! Take a stand!

Shaitan - Counting the number of times folk have dissagreed with me takes more fingers and toes than I have. As an example, Firewoman and I go round and round often. But note that I just nominated Firewoman for moderatorship, which as you know means she becomes my advisor at Pagan Nation. What the hell would the point be of having advisors who always agreed with me?
You are 100% right in that it is the content of that book which motivates people to agree with me on this one. The thing is, the book is so increadibly offensive to people who have heart and soul, that they appear to be following my lead to people who do not have a heart and soul.
You see, they just can not believe that we would be so motivated because they feel nothing when they read that material. So they have to come up with a different motivation.
Frankly, the word I would use for folk who have common morals and ethics is COMMUNITY. So maybe what we are really seeing is the thing that folk call the Pagan Community recognizing that it is NOT a community at all as it does not seem to contain any common morals or ethics.
I can see the common morals and ethics on our side of the arguement, I can see the community being formed, but I see nothing in the morals and ethics department on the other side, no community what so ever. Well, unless you call not giving a shit a moral or ethic.

Actually, this issue has brought my ideas about Community to a head for me. I am solitary, so my community was just me. I did not become a Pagan because of a teenage desire to be part of the Outsiders. It was more of a coming home to a soul that did not feel at home anywhere else. Joining Pagan Nation has made me protective of others in my Community. And what the Frosts have put in their book and a paper I did on The Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives really make me think our Community needs to stand up and be a true Community. Not under rules and dogma, but under tenets we can all agree on. One of those being child molestation is wrong. Period. End of argument. (Yes, I realize asking the entire Pagan Community in all its many colors and paths to agree about anything is an idealistic dream. I’m a dreamer…sue me! lol I’ve often been thanked for picking up a drum someone else long ago gave up.)

It shouldn’t have to be a dream Shaitan, Its about doing the RIGHT thing…Child abuse is wrong..in any shape or color or flavor 1 tries to give it..like the Frosts. Personally. I don’t even want their names in the same sentence as Wicca..As it leaves a bad taste in my mouth..They have discredited them selves completely in my eyes. Their words have no value, and their actions have no honor.
