Linda Crabtree has got Balls - She Defrosts well!

I have to share something with folk. I get a lot of email and there are only a few that I look forward to reading. At the top of that list are emails, which don’t seem to be spam, threats, or attacks. Just like the spammers, the nut cases have started to become smart. I receive emails with titles such as “Defrost information” which would indicate someone is offering assistance or information, I open the thing and find a threatening letter of some sorts. I have even taken to reading my email on line due to the number of Trojan horse files that I have been receiving in conjunction with this matter. So please do not believe I am being all that when I say that I look forward to this woman’s email as if that is a great compliment from A.J. Drew. I do not think of myself so highly as to tell people they should be special because I look forward to their emails. The woman I talk about here is special for an entirely different reason. She is special because she’s got balls.
The woman is an aspiring author, but has gone full steam straight ahead in a damn the torpedo fashion despite what she must obviously know are great obstacles.
The Real Witches Ball - Consider this, all authors for this year’s International Real Witches Ball have withdrawn. Although they will give backpedaling reasons, one turns out to be a long term friend of Gavin and Yvonne Frost, another has a book in print under his name in which the Frosts are praised. And two of them continue to state that they withdrew for moral objections due to a one hour event even though they have had that event explained in detail, know for a fact that the rumors are incorrect, and continue to cite their moral objections as their reason for pulling out despite the fact that each of those objections has been met. So it does seem that if you take a firm stand against Gavin and Yvonne Frost, folk will do what they can to destroy your events.
Publishers will probably hate you – Consider the fact that I spoke to the owner of Llewellyn worldwide not long ago. Despite the many references to his putting Gavin and Yvonne Frost on trial for what they wrote, he now claims he did no such thing and has never so much as read the book. Now it is entirely possible that account after account of the event has been fabricated, but frankly I think it is much more likely that they will simply turn coat and run away from you because they are afraid it will lower their income levels.
The owner of my last publishing house told me that he felt my book sales suffered greatly after Wicca for Couples came out. That book was the one in which I quoted material from The Witches Bible and explained my many objections.
Speaking engagements will be canceled – Consider Convocation, the only annual event that I had continued to speak at after my injury. I went out of my way to continue to present there because I love the way they work with parents and children. However, I recently received an email stating they can no longer have me as a speaker due to my position on the Frosts.
Organizations will shun you – Consider the fact that I wrote to ACE about this matter and my email was ignored. I wrote to Starwood on this matter and my email was ignored. I wrote to Brushwood and Sirius Rising but my email was ignored. I wrote to Pagan Pride International, but my email was ignored. In fact, when I wrote to The Witches Voice’s media coordinator, instead of receiving a reply email, the media coordinator came to my website, created an alias, spread lies, and generally flamed the place. In fact, after writing to Pagan Pride Rochester NY about their scheduling of Gavin and Yvonne Frost to speak, my email went unreturned. Then when I pointed out that the promote the Frosts on their website, a rep came to my blog and attacked me for not providing current information, claiming I should have written her rather than trusting what her website said. Uh, I did.
So here is to Balls! This woman has them and will need them if she looks forward to any reputation in the Pagan community what so ever. I say this because I think it is obvious that the Pagan Community is led predominantly by folk who are here to make money at any cost. It does not matter to them that the news keeps reporting on how Wiccan rituals and pagan trappings are being used to molest and rape our children. It doesn’t matter that our children are taking their own lives. You see, if someone points out that the Pagan Community is not all happy happy joy joy, well that might lower book sales and we can not possibly have that.
So to Lydia Crabtree I say good luck and I sincerely wish you all the success in the world. To anyone else who is reading this, I say please visit her blog and give her your well wishes. She will need them as this unfolds.
