Defrost VICTORY at PP North Little Rock ?

Has PP Arkansas come to its senses? Have the Frosts come to their senses? Do they now think I am right, that The Good Witches Bible encourages pedophilia? Tomorrow will tell the story.

This Saturday, September 8th, 2007, Gavin and Yvonne Frost will be speaking at Arkansas Pagan Pride in North Little Rock. If they conduct themselves as they have in many years previous at similar events, they will make available for sale The Good Witches Bible. A book which I and many others feel is a pedophilic instructional.

However, I do not think they will try and sell it in the Arkansas park. I think that their lawyer demanding that I take my quotes of my blog indicate that they may have finally realized how disguesting the teachings of the Church and School of Wicca have been. I also think that Pagan Pride Arkansas might ask them not to offer the thing for sale as they have indicated that my sending quotes from that book to folk in Arkansas is something they very much do not want me to do.

If the Frosts do Not offer for sale, The Good Witches Bible, at tomorrow’s event I will consider this whole matter well worth the effort! If there is anything I can do to prevent the sale of what I find to be a pedophilic instructional, I will consider it a success should that material not be sold at a pagan or any other event, especially those events taking place in a public park.

Now I also think they will lie and say they forgot to bring it or maybe that they never intended to merchant at the event. Maybe they will say it is so popular that they ran out. But even that will be a victory as if they take that path the book will not be sold & that is the main issue at hand. After years of battling what I see as a menace to my community, the book is almost impossible to purchase except from the Frosts website and at festivals from the Frosts themselves. So, as you can imagine, if the book is not offered for sale tomorrow I will feel victorious and so should all of the folk who have participated in this matter.

Many thanks to all who have participated in this effort. Now I ask that you all pray, meditate, or do what ever it is that you do to communicate with what ever god you hold sacred and beg that in the name of our children, that book NOT be sold at Saturday’s event.

With your help, the sale of that book will stop!

  3. I want to highlight a point that my wife has made and that NO one else has addressed, as parents we have been discussing this since this came to light. Brainwashing DOES occur in and out of Occult circles, they are led by dangerous people, by NO means am I saying the frosts are dangerous I am saying just because no one has come forward does not mean nothing has occurred, if the parents AND the children believe this is a normal aspect of life they will have no reason in coming forward and reporting any wrong doing. We as a COMMUNITY need to come together and bring ideas such as are written in this book to light and at the very least force its removal from said book. Do I agree in the burning of an effigy named after them NO, however: as was suggested on another forum mayhaps naming the effigies something less offending might be called for. It seems as of late our pagan elders and many others in the pagan community appear to have invoked a us vs them mentality as everyone fights over this issue all the while NOTHING is done.

  4. One more thought on this issue, I feel that when the Pagan Elders whom are noted to have helped this movement many years ago need now to step up and decry this section of the book, rather than defend people for writing it in the first place. The Frost may or may not be good people, only time will tell. When I hear Buckland, Issac, and all the rest stand together along with A J and condemn this section of the book, and ask the Frost to have it removed, then I will be impressed. Regardless of what may have been afore said the Frost would never give up artistic rights to this book or they would not receive royalties, as such have a greater say in what is printed in their name. This being said if the Pagan community along with its noted Elders stand together and request of the Frosts to remove this section to preserve Paganisms good name, and force the issue for the betterment of Paganism this will send a message to the Pagan community and the world at large that this kind of thing will not be tolerated. By doing this we will cease being bumps on a log, and be a force for change in this world, and one more chance to make it a better, safer place for all.
