Is CAW leadership Two Faced on Child Molestation?
September 25, 2007 – 11:30 amAccording to KFOR TV in Oklahoma City OK, a man named John Demerest was accused of Child Molestation. In the report provided by KFOR TV, pagan literature was shown and a connection was made between child molestation and the modern pagan community. I am not disagreeing with that association. The man was in possession of pagan literature, the man was accused of child molestation, and there is modern pagan literature which seems to clearly promote child molestation. We are not exempt from this sickness, we just want people to think we are.

But what makes this 1998 example of pedophilic in our community stand out is not what took place back then, but what has taken place recently. Why is it I would wait 9 years to report on this matter? Well, other than not having a blog back in 1998, without the response by the Church of All Worlds issued to KFOR TV, I wouldn’t be discussing this today.
It seems that Church of All Worlds was upset that Green Egg magazine was shown in the discussion of John Demerest and his activities. As you probably know, at the time Green Egg magazine was a publication of the Church of All Worlds.

Some might say that this is an impressive stance to take with the media. Some might say that this was an honorable statement which clearly defends all pagans and Wiccans everywhere. But what about the number of pagans and Wiccans who have been accused of child molestation and rape? Are they all innocents just by virtue of the fact that they claim to be Wiccan or Pagan?
More importantly, what does Green Egg and Church of All Worlds say when the press is not watching? Here we see that the Church of All Worlds and Green Egg magazine claims to be clearly opposed to child molestation and the claim that any sincere practitioner of our religions would feel the same.
However, when the current leadership of Green Egg addresses a similar issue, they wildly defend the authors and publishers, which many consider to have supported child molestation.

I think this seems very two faced but would like to know what others think of the matter. Please read the quotes from Gavin and Yvonne Frost’s book. Understand that the disclaimer was reportedly added in the year 2000, and then ask yourself if the Church of All World and Green Eggs defense of Gavin and Yvonne Frost is in keeping with the letter sent to KFOR TV in Oklahoma City, OK.
As always, I am encouraging you to read the book and make up your own mind. However, in this instance I am asking you to IGNORE the disclaimer and the forewords. Why? Well, the case of John Demerest was reported back in 1998. At that time, the book was self-published by Gavin and Yvonne Frost. It was not until their year 2000 edition that they indicate the disclaimer was added.

CAW was founded by pagan opportunists, like there beginning supporters: ACE. In my town.
We of certain Clans rejected them in the beginning seeing that we had relationships with the founders.
I doubt Sue even has the magical awareness of what I speak. Some people read there way into crafts. Some work it without ego attachment. Some are so infested with “self” that they presume to speak for “others”. It seems to me a leader is one who leads the way. A bully is one who pushes his way.
There is not one among these who will spin doctor me at the throne of justice.
All Worlds, really??? And council at that???

Tuaim – That was very dramatic, so I am sure you have some very deeply felt resentment for CAW. As I do not know your story, I can only ask questions in the hopes of understand what you are getting at.
As you seem to defend Spirit Weavers and attack CAW, I wonder if you are not associated with Spirit Weavers. No clue who or what they are, but I do know they and CAW seems somehow associated as there are folk who have posted demands that they are CAW but do not recognize the Spirit Weaver folk as being members of CAW.
Were the Spirit Weaver folk the same ones who ran CAW out of Toledo for a time?
If so, I am confused as to why Spirit Weavers would have Gavin and Yvonne Frost in as speakers when the couple is so beloved by CAW, Oberon Zell, and seemingly the whole Starwood / Brushwood / Sirius Rising / ACE group of organizers. Not that those groups are one in the same, but there is a tight association.
It all seems very odd. Hoping you could shed some light on it.
