It was fairly late Saturday Night, October 6th. Two young ladies staggered by the picnic tables where I was sitting with their arms extended in front of them.
“Brains. Brains. Brains.” Was the only thing they said as they staggered on.
It was the first ever Zombie Invasion at the Ohio Renaissance Festival. Not one that occurred during the daylight hours. More of an informal Zombie invasion planned (or maybe not) by someone at the event. I think it is more likely than not that the invasion portion of Zombie night was accidental. A few folk from Silver, Sword and Stone were making a home made Zombie movie earlier at night. I think the idea just kind of caught on and we experienced a nearly completely spontaneous Zombie invasion.
Now some of you might argue that a spontaneous Zombie invasion is more fun that one that is planned, but I had absolutely no rum with which to make me a Zombie so I felt kind of left out.
