Police Officer / Pagan Boo-ed out of a Starwood
October 29, 2007 – 7:40 pmPolice Officer / Pagan Boo-ed out of a Starwood event with the Frosts.
The following is a quote from a Myspace.com blog at:
http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=2844297&blogID=310125518
The author of the comment, Knight of Fairfield, is both a police officer and fellow pagan who reports:
“May years ago ( early 90’s) at a Pagan fest called Starwood I confronted Gavin Frost about what he had written about children. As a Police Officer and a Pagan I was outraged by what I had read in his book. Sadly , at the time anyway he told me he stands by his book, and that it is an icon of pagan reading. Well I told him that what he has will hurt the pagan community, and it garbage. The funny thing was that when I brought this up in the seminar that he was giving at Starwood I was “boo-ed” out the tent. Back then people stood by him as an elder. Too many people with minds like sheep, have to follow someone.
Anyway from a police stand point he can say or write what he wants in a book. As long as he dose not do it. The stuff he had written about a 10 year old female child is upsetting, and I believe that he needs to kept away from kids, as long as he has no access to children I don’t think the police will get involved, nor should they. Freedom of speach is tricky, got to love it. As for the IRS nothing I can tell you, not my area.”
This is the Pagan Community folk. A police officer, one with training in what is and is not child molestation questions Gavin Frost. Gavin Frost demands that the book is an icon of pagan reading and that he stands by the book.
Why do I bring this up? Well, note that Knight of Fairfield said:
“Back then people stood by him as an elder”.
Yes, people in the Pagan Community still stand behind Gavin and Yvonne Frost as elders. However, I think that his comment reflects something very important. He seems to feel that the Frost’s standings as Elders in the Pagan Community is fading. I agree 100%.
Defrosting is working! The modern pagan community is growing up (and waking up). Authors, events, and organizations who have supported these people and their work, who have promoted them for so many years, are starting to be identified. No more silence! No more looking the other way! No more social irresponsibility!
Victory is at hand even if the battle will never end. Protect your children. Protect our children. Identify evil and speak of it!

Amazing isn’t it? Can you even believe they did this to a police officer confronting someone about molesting and abusing children?
Guess who they would have called first should they need protection, gee, could it be the police?
I have a question I’m sure I’ll never get an answer to, if this so called ritual is so all important, why didn’t they do it to their daughter? They all deny it. Now, I’d think if they’re so proud of it, they’d say they did it proudly and say it never harmed THEIR daughter.
I have to wonder, does or did their daughter Bronwyn do it to her children? If not, WHY NOT?
I was talking to my parents about this issue tonight and my mother said she heard or read the very same thing, about the Frost’s version of Wicca but she couldn’t remember if she’d heard it on television or read it in a magazine, has anyone got any info on it? She said it was about two weeks ago and whoever was telling the story wasn’t impressed by how great it was, they were horrified. My mother said “I was so horrified and stunned, it was so horrible I couldn’t believe it”. She said “It was about those Wicca people”. I told her that many Wiccans are fighting this with everything they’ve got and this wasn’t real Wicca. I also chatted with my Dad about the hippie excuse. The look on his face said it all. He said the same thing I say, it’s only PERVERTS who were doing thigs like that.

Suzume - I do not believe the Frosts or their daughter have denied that she was initiated in accordance with chapter 4. From what I have read of the daughter and her parents statements, there has not yet been a statement that she was not sexualy initiated as a child. I have not yet seen a statement that the dildos were not used on her, that her hymen was not removed, that she did not fast, that she did not have sex with a coven member as part of her under aged initiation.
Instead, no matter how carefully and specific my questions are, the answers are so vague that I get the feeling the answer is actually yes. After all, the disclaimer was added to the 2000 edition stating that the disclaimer contains how they feel in January of 2000. Their daughter was an adult by the time they added the disclaimer.
Further, in the year 2000 edition the Frosts are clear that the instructions were part of the original teachings of the Church and School of Wicca and that they practice what they taught.
