Baby Bottle Pops might be poison!

Warning: Baby Bottle Pops might be POISON.

Baby Bottle Pops is a very popular brand of candy. It is a registered trademark of the Topps Company, Inc. The same folk who brought us baseball cards with bubble gum.

This is the Baby Bottle Pops product line:

This is NOT the Baby Bottle Pops line, or at least I do not think so at this time.

Shampoo and Body Jell

Maybe it is. Maybe it is not. However, Aimee was under the impression the name Baby Bottle Pop was like the name Snickers. How man other parents think the same thing? How man kids are eating shampoo and body wash?

At this time, I –think- this is a knock off product pretending to belong to the Baby Bottle Pops line up by Topps. The Topps website makes absolutely no mention of this product that I can find. So parents, beware! Read the fine print. In this case, the tiny warning label that says “Do not eat” which is obstructed by the product itself. In other words, remove what you think is candy from the package, and then check the package to see if there is a warning label BEHIND the thing you thought was candy. Yes, it has come to this folk; before eating that snickers bar it is advisable that you read the INSIDE of the wrapper!

The back of the Shampoo and Body Wash package reads:

BABY BOTTLE POP(tm) & (C) 2007 The Topps Company, Inc.

Made in China. / Fabrique en Chine.

So now it looks like in addition to childrens toys and dog food from China, now we have to be concerned about things that look like American Candy Brands.
