What is this election all about?

This post should not be considered an endorsement for either candidate present or for the Democratic party. I despise the Democratic party. I despise the Republican party. I despise politics and politicians. In fact, I don’t believe a single word uttered by politicians is how they really feel. So in what I am about to say, please do not I am praising Hillary Clinton or her fellow Democrat Barack Obama.
Watch this video. Right before Hillary Clinton and Barack Obamas shake hands, she says something. Then look into Barack Obama’s eyes. You might not agree with what Obama says, but look into his eyes when Hillary Clinton offers him her hand. That look is what this and all American elections should be all about.
Both of these candidates want to be the Democratic choice for presidential candidate. I think both are willing to lie to achieve that goal. But every now and then a politician slips and you can see their true soul. Not that I think Barack Obama’s message is the right one. I am not educated enough to have an opinion yet. But looking into his eyes when Hillary Clinton offered him her hand, well I saw a human being more than a politician.
